Thaxted Cricket Club is in the heart of Essex, south of saffron Walden. We are a typical village cricket club and play on a Green surrounded by Old cottages. The club has been around for over 100yrs and we keep still going strong.

Thaxted Cricket runs Junior Cricket on Wednesday night catering for children from 8 to 16 years. The under 15 side currently play in the the Bardfield League and the Under 13's play friendlies.

In addition to the juniors we play both Saturday and Sunday games. the Saturday games are our league team in the Herts. & Essex league. the Sunday team plays friendly games against other clubs around Essex. Due to high number of players we play an additional 3rds team games on either day through out the season.

Year on year Thaxted Cricket Club is growing and gain more players and our reputation is getting better.
